Two years of work really shows in the animation sketches — you can flip to almost any page and find a detail you missed the first time. I went digital so I could zoom in on the linework, and 172 pages feels like a lot for the price.
The 172 pages are packed with animation stills and rough sketches I hadn't seen anywhere online. Two years of work really shows in the background paintings. I got the softcover and it feels solid enough to flip through daily.
Bought the softcover as a gift for a friend who animates, and the two-year process behind it really shows in the backgrounds. Only gripe is that I wish a few of the full-page pieces were printed larger, since the detail begs for it.
