The hardcover feels way sturdier than I expected for a guidebook, and the Kari Fry illustrations make it double as a coffee table book. I've been flipping to the crop charts constantly while playing 1.6, and having the villager gift lists right there beats alt-tabbing to a wiki.
Bought this for my second playthrough and the illustrations by Kari Fry are genuinely gorgeous — I keep flipping to the seasonal crop charts mid-game instead of alt-tabbing to the wiki. Hardcover feels sturdy enough to leave open on my desk, and it's current with 1.6.8 so nothing's outdated.
