The Enchantress doesn't play fair—when it comes to games of chance, you'll want to bring your own deck.
Laura Verdin's official Shovel Knight playing cards are back with an all-new colorway, in a special production run commemorating the game's 10th anniversary.
Bought these for my weekly game night and the artwork on every face card is gorgeous—you can tell real care went into the illustrations. The gold colorway looks way classier in person than I expected, and they shuffle nicely right out of the box.
The gold foil on the card backs catches the light way better than the photos suggest, and the art is straight from the game. Shuffles smooth too, no sticking between cards. Been using them for poker night and everyone keeps asking where I got them.
The gold foil on the card backs looks way nicer in person than in the photos, and the art holds up even when you're squinting at a full hand. Only gripe is the box lid fits a bit loose, so I wouldn't toss it in a bag without a rubber band.
