Baba Is Cards

The rule-bending twist on a card game actually works, and figuring out how to rewrite the rules mid-hand kept my group arguing for an hour. If you liked the video game, the way cards interact here will surprise you.

The rule-changing mechanic carries over perfectly from the video game—you can literally rewrite a card's instructions mid-puzzle and watch the whole table flip. My game group has played it three nights straight and we're still finding new interactions. Total brain-bender in the best way.

I'm enjoying the way each hand feels like a tiny logic puzzle where you can rewrite the rules mid-game. Only gave it 4 stars because the setup takes a bit longer than I'd like for a card game. Still, a solid adaptation of the video game concept.
